        Informatica Is Rated Exemplary and an Overall Leader in Product Experience Management

        We are happy to share some insights about Informatica drawn from our latest Value Index research, Ventana Research Value Index: Product Experience Management, which assesses how well vendors’ offerings meet buyers’ requirements.

        In all of our Value Indexes we utilize a structured research methodology that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for Ventana_Research_Value_Index_Logo_Product_Experience_Management_2023_Product_Experience_Leaderproposal (RFP) and vendor selection process for analytics and business intelligence. We evaluated Informatica and 15 vendors in seven categories, five relevant to the product (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two related to the vendor (TCO/ROI and vendor validation). To arrive at the Value Index rating for a given vendor, we weighted each category to reflect its relative importance in an RFP process, with the weightings based on our experience and on data derived from our benchmark research on product experience management.

        Informatica, a dedicated provider of data-focused technology, has been providing a dedicated approach in PIM for over a decade and builds on its data integration and MDM offerings that support requirements for PIM.

        Informatica was categorized as an Exemplary Vendor and is an Overall Value Leader ranking first overall in this Value Index evaluation. It ranked first in Product Experience where it was a Value Index Leader in all five categories.Ventana_Research_Value_Index_PXM_2023_Informatica It ranked third in Customer Experience and was a Value Index Leader in TCO/ROI and Validation. Its overall performance was led by its highest ranking in Reliability.

        Informatica continues its attentiveness to engaging in RFI and providing significant information. Informatica could make small improvements to the communications of its commitment to the customer experience for this specific product line.

        This assessment was based on Informatica MDM Product 360 Cloud Edition 10.5 supporting product experience management and was available in December of 2022. Informatica continued investment into its product has enabled it to reach a top rating in the Value Index.

        Informatica, like all vendors in this space, should focus on the growing requirements for what product experiences are expected and how feedback from consumption can guide improvement.
