        RingCentral is Exemplary in Digital Communications Buyers Guides

        We are happy to share some insights about RingCentral drawn from our latest market research, Ventana Research Buyers Guide: Digital Communications, which assesses how well providers’ offerings meet buyers’ requirements.  

        We recently published four Ventana Research Digital Communications Buyers Guides, an assessment of technology providers and products that provide individual and combined VR_Exemplary_DCOverall_2024Digital Communications, basic suite, platform and premium suite support. At Ventana Research, we continue to believe that, for most use-cases, there is a clear choice for digital communications for any use in your enterprise. We developed four technology assessments and buyers guides to focus on overall Digital Communications requirements as well as specific basic suite, platform and premium suite use-cases. 

        In all of our Buyers Guides, we utilize a structured research methodology called the Value Index that includes evaluation categories designed to reflect real-world criteria incorporated in a request for proposal (RFP) and provider selection process for digital communications. We evaluated RingCentral in seven categories, five relevant to the product (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two related to the provider (TCO/ROI and provider validation). 

        In the overall Digital Communications Buyers Guide, our analysis classified RingCentral as Exemplary, an Overall Leader and a Leader in Product and Customer Experience, receiving anVentana_Research_BG_DigiCommsOverall_RingCentral_2024 overall grade of A- with an 86.8% performance. RingCentral’s best grouped results came in Product Experience with an 87.7% performance and an A grade, due in part to its A in Usability. In Customer Experience, RingCentral received a B++ grade with an 81% performance, due to its 85.9 % performance in TCO/ROI. RingCentral was designated a Leader in all seven categories.  

        RingCentral’s A grade in Product Experience was impacted by its A- in Reliability, where it could provide more depth on its level of focus on performance and scalability. Customer Experience was impacted by its B++ in Validation, where it could provide more information on its customer commitment and product roadmap.  

        RingCentral performed best in Product Experience with an A grade, notably in Usability, where it received an A due to its overall focus and work in intelligence, accessibility and investment. In Adaptability, its focus on the customization, APIs and investment were key to its rating. In Customer Experience, its B++ rating was led in TCO/ROI by the overall information available information for making an investment.   

        In the Digital Communications Basic Suite Buyers Guide, our analysis classified RingCentral as Exemplary, receiving an overall grade of A- with an 87% performance. RingCentral’s bestVentana_Research_BG_DigiCommsBasic_RingCentral_2024 grouped results came in Product Experience at 88.8% performance and an A grade due in part to its 91.4% performance in Usability. In Customer Experience, RingCentral received a B++ grade with an 81% performance due to its 85.9% performance in TCO/ROI. RingCentral was designated a Leader in nine of the 10 possible categories, including, Overall, Product Experience, Customer Experience, Adaptability, Capability, Reliability, Usability, TCO/ROI and Validation. 

        RingCentral’s A grade in Product Experience was impacted by its A- in Reliability, where it could make improvements necessary towards performance optimization measures. Customer Experience was impacted by its B++ in Validation, where it could highlight more case studies and showcase a product roadmap that clearly addresses buyers’ future needs and current challenges. 

        RingCentral performed best in Product Experience with an A grade, notably receiving an A n Usability due to its well-defined UI for greater UX and strong investments in demos for improvements. Also, adopting intelligent tools increases the grading in this category. RingCentral’s quality and resources offered to buyers to prepare a business case give it an advantage, thereby achieving an A- in TCO/ROI.  

        In the Digital Communications Platform Buyers Guide, our analysis classified RingCentral as Exemplary and an overall and Product Experience Leader, receiving an overall grade of A-Ventana_Research_BG_DigiCommsPlat_RingCentral_2024 with an 87.2% performance. RingCentral’s best grouped results came in Product Experience at 88.7% performance and an A grade due in part to its A in Usability. In Customer Experience, RingCentral received a B++ grade with an 81% performance due to its 85.9% performance in TCO/ROI. RingCentral was designated a Leader in two categories including: Adaptability and Capability.  

        RingCentral’s A grade in Product Experience was impacted by its A- in Reliability, where it could provide more depth on its level of focus on performance and scalability. Customer Experience was impacted by its B++ in Validation, where it could provide more information on its customer commitment and product roadmap.

        In the Digital Communications Premium Suite Buyers Guide, our analysis classified RingCentral as Exemplary, receiving an overall grade of A- with an 87% performance.Ventana_Research_BG_DCPremSuite_RingCentral_2024 RingCentral’s best grouped results came in Product Experience with an 88% performance and an A grade due in part to its A in Usability. In Customer Experience, RingCentral received a B++ grade with an 81% performance due to its 85.9 % performance in TCO/ROI. RingCentral was designated a Leader in five of the seven categories including Adaptability, Manageability, Reliability, TCO/ROI and Validation, in addition to being a Leader in the Overall, Product Experience and Customer Experience categories. RingCentral was the top-performing provider in this Buyers Guide. 

        RingCentral’s A grade in Product Experience was impacted by its A- in Reliability, where it could provide more depth regarding its focus on performance and scalability. Customer Experience was impacted by its B++ in Validation, where it could provide more information on its customer commitment and product roadmap.  

        RingCentral performed best in Product Experience with an A grade, notably in Usability, where it received an A due to its overall focus and work in intelligence, accessibility and investment. In Adaptability, its focus on the customization, APIs and investment were key to its rating. In Customer Experience, its B++ rating in TCO/ROI was led by the overall information available for making an investment. 

        This assessment was based on RingEX, RingCentral MVP, RingCentral Rooms, RingCentral Business SMS, RingCentral Events, RingCentral Phone, RingCentral Rooms, RingCentral Video, RingCentral Webinar, v. March 2024 and was available in March of 2024.
