The opportunity to capitalize on enterprise data is a priority for data leaders. Our research finds that data and AI efforts are most often applied to customer-facing activities. The results of those efforts are impressive, with more than 8 in 10 (84%) experiencing some positive outcomes from their AI efforts to date. The top AI-enabled application areas are analytics and customer relationship management, and more than one quarter of enterprises also have AI-enabled supply chain management, ERP, human capital management and sales performance management.
