Continuous Planning for Operational Success During and After Integration
Planning for post-merger integration usually focuses on how to combine organizational charts and financial systems. Bringing together the operational systems of two companies may not be top-of-mind and therefore relegated to a “let’s figure this out later” status. Failure to plan how to achieve sustainable operational efficiencies, including supply chains, will result in missed opportunities to attain the expected synergies and an inability to discover additional, less obvious sources of value in the combination. Developing a blueprint for integrating supply chain management processes and systems is an essential element in preparing for post-merger integration.
Please join Robert Kugel, SVP & Research Director at Ventana Research and Gerry Hanrahan, Senior Director of Supply Chain Process & Technology for Global Supply Chain at Extreme Networks as they discuss best practices and strategies.
