Addressing Today’s Hiring Challenges
Trite though it sometimes sounds, people truly are an organization’s most important asset. But in today’s complex and rapidly changing marketplace, efficiently hiring the best possible employees is far from simple.
In particular, confirming a candidate’s work history continues to be an inconsistent manual process. That’s in large measure due to two factors: Previous employers are not required to provide any information about their experience with the candidate as their employee other than what position he or she held and for what period of time. And employment verification typically is based on the candidate’s self-reported work history, which may not cover unreported employment that is relevant to the hiring decision.
