Digital Technology Keynote
Deceit or Destiny in Digital Investments for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: David Menninger, SVP & Research Director
The necessity to advance the digital technology agenda is not just the responsibility of technology leaders but the entire leadership team and workforce to engage and determine their destiny. To accomplish this requires a transformational leap forward to digital platforms that unify analytics and data with AI and ML utilizing automation and workflow across cloud computing environments. Gaining value requires augmented intelligence in collaborative and conversational computing using mobile devices to establish harmony in workforce experiences that can endure the test of time. With ample technological opportunity, including the augmented reality of business and lightning fast digital events in every part of your organization, the question is how to carefully craft a path that can help you move forward.

Market Assertion: Through 2024, two-thirds of organizations will realize that the digital technology used for operating virtually for business continuity is ineffective in supporting organizational resilience.

Digital Innovation Session #1
Digital Excellence in Revenue and Customer Experiences for 2026
Speaker: Stephen Hurrell, VP & Research Director and Keith Dawson, VP & Research Director
No matter where you look in an organization, the challenges that sustain throughout the revenue to customer processes are exasperated through applications that have not been streamlined by design or through lack of modernization. While the path towards expected customer experiences might seem simple, they are complicated by less than streamlined applications across marketing, revenue and fulfillment and contact with customer service. To achieve desired outcomes from your customers, these applications need to be simplified. A modern generation of revenue and customer experience applications are now available to interconnect and ensure that engagement and insights are available to those that need it. The seamless and satisfying experiences of the future are not possible without establishing digital excellence in business processes that have moved beyond CRM and require communications and collaboration between customers and organizations.

Market Assertion: By 2025, one-half of large enterprise will have assigned a dedicated, accountable executive to oversee customer experience, in the form of a Chief Customer Officer or Chief Experience Officer.

Digital Innovation Session #2
The Experiences of People and Digital HCM Processes for 2026
Speaker: Quincy Valencia, VP & Research Director
How the workforces of today and in the future enable experiences that engage and motivate employees will be determined by the digital processes that are facilitated seamlessly across the organization. But the path forward is fraught with technology gaps that plague the best of organizations who are not prepared to facilitate the pathways of skills and learning that ensure the best possible employee experience and workforce performance. Modern and intelligent human capital management (HCM) applications now available with the ability to blend suites of business applications together, help support the recruitment and advancement of people in the workforce to reach desired levels of readiness and resilience that organizations expect.

Market Assertion: By 2025, one-half of organizations will implement a more comprehensive approach to determine organizational readiness, including sentiment analysis, survey tools, skill gaps and adjacencies assessments for improved employee potential.

Digital Innovation Panel Session #3

Digital Technology Session #1
Insights on Data Platforms and Digital Future for 2026
Speaker: Matt Aslett, VP & Research Director
The advent of an insight and execution driven organization has escalated the requirement for design and construction of data platforms to meet a broader set of use cases. The current desire for more stream-like data that operates continuously to harness the power of events and generate conceptual hydropower is now possible. It sounds great, but is no easy feat as organizations’ disparity in repositories and systems are well beyond the data warehouse and data lake challenges of recent years. How an organization establishes not just the data platforms but the governance, security and sovereignty through use of catalogues and virtualization can help build a path to a digital future that starts today.

Market Assertion: By 2025, more than two-thirds of all data processes will use artificial intelligence and machine learning to boost the value that can be derived from the data.

Digital Technology Session #2
Augmenting Analytics with Insights to Achieve Outcomes for 2026
Speaker: David Menninger, SVP & Research Director
The technology industry has no shortage of conversation on the power of AI and machine learning, but how it manifests itself in the analytic processes and provides actionable insights is what is yet to be digitally realized. But is that enough? The collaborative aspects of organizations have matured dramatically and the lack of connection to analytics has begun to open doors for what can truly bring digital innovation to engage the entire workforce and harness the value of investments. But where analytics are embedded and made accessible to the workforce, in where they work and when they need them, will determine the digital potential of the organization.

Market Assertion: By 2025, 9 in ten analytics processes will be enhanced by artificial intelligence and machine learning to streamline operations and increase the value that can be derived from data.

Digital Potential Keynote
Building Business Resilience for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Robert Kugel, SVP & Research Director
No matter how you examine your organization’s potential, the resilience for which it operates and the business continuity that is desired must be at the center of your digital investments. How your investment and resource priorities are determined, and the technologies utilized can help you reach your expectation on digital innovation and the promise of tomorrow. How your organization evaluates technology and uses a blueprint for success is when digital innovation can move beyond transformational legacy systems, lifting and shifting exercises. The real opportunity that lies ahead is when your organization can depend on the leadership and trust of those that enable the digital potential to be realized; not just in the experiences in using it but the benefits that are quantifiable.

Market Assertion: Through 2024, one-third of organizations will establish a Center of Excellence (CoE) with a digital business team to prioritize technology operations for the entire workforce.

Business Technology Keynote
The Sustainable Future of Business and Technology with ESG
Speaker: Robert Kugel, SVP & Research Director, Business Research and David Menninger, SVP & Research Director, Technology Research
The market and business dynamics of corporate sustainability have been usurped by the global movement to environment social governance (ESG) that has established a new movement for the planning and operations of business processes and technology. Organizations are establishing new teams and requirements to meet the expectations of executive teams and finance leadership that determine what is reported externally for regulatory and stakeholder requirements. Business and HR leaders inside of the organization must determine what is marketed and communicated as corporate values, along with a commitment to the merits of ESG and sustainability. A technology blueprint for ESG is now needed more than ever to ensure that strategic and operational requirements are met. But the focal point on an organization’s broader service to supply chain, and everything related to how it operates including its people, must address where an organization can collaborate, plan and monitor while on the road to excellence in sustainability.

Market Assertion: By 2025, one-quarter of organizations will not be able to achieve sustainability management objectives without environmental social governance (ESG) applications required to sustain continuous improvement.

Digital Leadership Keynote
Leading the Technology Battle for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Mark Smith, CEO & Chief Research Officer, Digital Business
The leadership that motivates workforces and governs business processes is not everything that is required to move beyond the renaissance of technology that operates around us every day. Those in organizations who are deciding which technology will mature and adapt to the ever-changing business conditions must not miss the fine print that more than batteries are required to modernize the digital environment for our workforce. No matter if it is an enterprise-class application or the broader continuous and integrated business planning methods of your organization, the battle for your workforce engagement and participation is critical. Leaning in and leading with the focal point on investment and technology requirements will determine the destiny of a technology battle to one that is destined for winning.

Market Assertion: In 2025, one-quarter of organizations will remain digitally ineffective in achieving the business priorities for customer-, product- and people related processes.

Ventana Research Digital Leadership Panel
Digital Leadership Insights to Guide 2024
Moderator: Jeff Orr, SVP of Products with Robert Kugel, SVP & Research Director and David Menninger, SVP & Research Director
In this panel discussion on the digital leadership that organizations face, Jeff Orr, SVP of Products, will moderate an open conversation with Robert Kugel, SVP & Research Director and David Menninger, SVP & Research Director on the challenges that must be considered to harness the power of your organization to embrace and continuously improve the use of technology. What kernels of truth are left to embrace and what is truly required to ensure that organizations gain a realistic footing in the future is essential for every business.

Digital Business Keynote
The Business Design of Digital Business for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Mark Smith, CEO & Chief Research Officer
The destiny of digital business remains an opportunity over the next decade, but the merits of what technologies are used leaves much to be accomplished in every organization. Elevating a committee of existing, tenured and well-defined executives is not enough as new business technology leaders have arrived to help facilitate the business of balancing work, experience and performance with the priorities of communications, governance and sustainability. New mandates for organizational-wide ESG will require how work-consumed resources are monitored and adapted in new ways to meet the goals of the organization, workforce and stakeholders. Organizations will need to ensure their business continuity and digital security in technology investments enables business and workforce resiliency.

Market Assertion: By 2025, two-thirds of organizations’ executive leadership teams will determine that digital experiences are ineffective and ascertain their investments are misappropriated.

Ventana Research Digital Business Panel #1
Digital Business Insights to Guide 2024
Moderator: Jeff Orr, SVP of Products with Mark Smith, CEO & Chief Research Officer
In this panel discussion on state of digital business, Jeff Orr, SVP of Products will moderate an open conversation with Mark Smith, CEO & Chief Research Officer on the digital future of business and what is required to meet the people and process requirements for productivity and performance throughout your organization. No matter which industry you operate within, the applicability of technology for digital business is one that should not be left to chance or forgotten.

Digital Leadership Session #1
Revenue Technology for Financial Excellence for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Stephen Hurrell, VP & Research Director
The opportunity for excellence is everyone’s agenda but when it comes to well established financial processes and more nascent all-inclusive revenue leadership and processes, there is a destined challenge for every organization. As the applications and technology for revenue processes become more established, the path to excellence can become clear to those that use a revenue and financial performance framework as a blueprint for success. While there is no longer a need to patch together data from applications for analytics and planning needs, there is a more adaptive approach that allows for joint leadership and operational excellence that should pay dividends in return.

Market Assertion: Through 2025, more than three-fifth of organizations will limit the effectiveness of revenue management with an incomplete view of a customers’ journey from lead, engagement, purchasing, onboarding, renewal and expansion.

Digital Leadership Session #2
AI and Data for Business for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Matt Aslett, VP & Research Director
The potential for an organization’s data as well as that from external sources has resulted in information being locked up in a vault, then in a library for governed access and value. How do you gain the insights you need that include relevant, personalized intelligence for the individual in need. Simple? It is not. With a new generation of data science and engineering blending AI & ML with analytics and data, the possibilities are now becoming a reality when utilized platforms and tools are designed to meet the competencies and skills of your organization.

Market Assertion: By 2025, more than two-thirds of all data processes will use artificial intelligence and machine learning to boost the value that can be derived from the data.

Digital Leadership Panel Session #3
Realities of Digital Leadership Panel
Moderator: David Menninger, SVP & Research Director
Join leading business and technology professionals for a candid conversation about digital leadership in revenue, financial processes and data technologies that can garner insights on hidden truths and secrets to success.

Digital Business Session #1
Innovations in Customer Experience for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Keith Dawson, VP & Research Director
The satisfaction and success of every organization’s customer base is a focal point fraught with a myriad of processes and applications that are not always technologically built to fit and work together. The people of the workforce act as agents or otherwise are left to operate with little support to know the context of customer interactions and their need for resolution. Now, with a new generation of customer experience management applications and platforms, the elevated priority to work holistically across departments and channels is a reality. Gain a new blueprint for success to help your organization reach a higher level of excellence in customer experience.

Market Assertion: Through 2025, the establishment of CX application suites on a common platform will become the focal point of the drive to optimize customer and organization engagement.

Digital Business Session #2
Innovations in People and Work for 2026 and Beyond
Speaker: Quincy Valencia, VP & Research Director
The necessity to equip people with the tools they need to be effective in their role and responsibilities is essential for the path towards excellence and experiences that matter to every member of the workforce. While innovations are announced every month in the technology industry, only so many have an impact on productive work conducted by any worker, employee or contractor. Establish a lens for evaluating innovations in applications and analytics that can materially impact your efforts as core to what your organization must determine. Now with the infusion of workflow and automation, and the potential of AI & ML, the power of HCM is well beyond the HR organization and in the hands of every employee and manager.

Market Assertion: By 2024, one-half of organizations evaluating people analytics offerings will require prescriptive guidance with actionable insights for quantifiable HCM impact.
