The U.S. Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a complex law with many compliance requirements that entails significant effort and expenditures by almost every organization. Thus, having a strategy and plan but lacking the required processes, information and systems is an approach likely to be fraught with difficulties and one that will be unnecessarily expensive.
