The research set out to evaluate the mainareas of significant technology advancements for the next decade and identify how businesses can use them to gain a critical advantage.

The research shows that organizations attempting to innovate do so to drive business improvements (60%) and improve the quality of business process (57%). While the research revealed that all six of these technologies are shown to provide drastic improvements, the use business analytics is the first step identifying areas for improvements and methods to drive change. The remaining five technologies were typically implemented to resolve specific business issues.
