Robert D. Kugel, CFA, SVP & Research Director - Business Research
Robert KugelRob heads up the CFO and business research focusing on the intersection of information technology with the finance organization and business. His research agenda includes the application of IT to finance and business process optimization – particularly continuous accounting and continuous planning; control systems and analytics; and price and revenue optimization. Prior to joining Ventana Research he was an equity research analyst at several firms including First Albany Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Drexel Burnham, and a consultant with McKinsey and Company. Rob was an Institutional Investor All-American Team member and on the Wall Street Journal All-Star list. Rob has experience in aerospace and defense, banking, manufacturing and retail and consumer services. David Menninger, SVP & Research Director – Data and Analytics Research
David Menninger David is responsible for the overall research direction of data, information and analytics technologies at Ventana Research covering major areas including Analytics, Big Data, Business Intelligence and Information Management along with the additional specific research categories including Information Applications, IT Performance Management, Location Intelligence, Operational Intelligence and IoT, and Predictive Analytics. David is also responsible for examining the role of cloud computing, collaboration and mobile technologies as they affect these areas. David brings to Ventana Research over twenty five years of experience, through which he has marketed and brought to market some of the leading edge technologies for helping organizations analyze data to support a range of action-taking and decision-making processes. Richard Snow, VP & Research Director – Customer and Contact Center Research
Richard SnowRichard leads Ventana Research’s Customer and Contact Center Management research practice, which is dedicated to helping organizations improve the efficiency and effectiveness of managing their customers, throughout their lifetime and across all touch points, including the contact center. He conducts research exploring the people, process, information and technology issues behind customer operations management, contact center management, and customer experience management. He also works with senior business operations and IT managers to ensure that companies get the best performance from today’s highly complex application products. Richard has worked in management and consulting leadership positions in the technology industry including with Price Waterhouse, Sema Group and Valoris. Tony Cosentino, VP & Research Director, Business Analytics
Tony CosentinoTony is responsible for the business analytics research practice including business intelligence, location intelligence and operational intelligence. He is an expert in helping business and IT organizations develop strategies to use information and analytics to take smarter actions and make better decisions. Tony is responsible for researching the intersection where information can be used and enhanced with business technology innovations including: business analytics, big data, cloud computing, business collaboration, mobile technology and social media. Tony is an expert in market research and business intelligence with decades of experience.
